Night of Jazz- Olympia Titan Bands would like to invite you to their 2nd Annual Night of Jazz Festival on Tuesday, April 16th. This event is sponsored by Chuy's! Enjoy live music, meeting with community, dancing and delicious Tex-Mex food included with admission. Tickets are $7. Event starts outside in the courtyard (weather permitting) and will move inside to the Auditorium. Doors open at 5:15pm. Prom- Prom is fast approaching! Next week students will pick up wristbands and a Prom information sheet during lunch shifts on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. It is mandatory that students pick up their wristbands. Students will not be let into prom if they are not wearing their wristband at the entrance of Epcot. If students are not on campus during lunch they will need to make plans to pick their wristband before school in room 427. Parents please read the RED information sheet that your students will bring home. A separate email will be sent out with important Prom information on Monday. Students who purchased Black and White tickets please remember to pick up your VIP Prom Perks Package in room 427 on Monday and Wednesday of next week.


Curriculum Fair- Save the date, May 7 starting at 5pm for our Titan curriculum fair which will allow students and parents to preview current course requests for the 24-25 school year, get more information about our academic programs, preview courses offerings and ask our teachers and students questions, and fill out an add/ drop form to request changes to next year’s course requests. More information will be forthcoming.


ACT Saturday April 13- Students taking the ACT tomorrow, please be sure you bring your ID for admission into the test.

ACT School Day- All Juniors are scheduled to take the ACT on Tuesday April 16. This is a free opportunity to take the ACT on campus and the scores are college reportable. Please check your student email for more information.


PERT - There will be one final PERT this year on April 22. Just a reminder that this test is after the due date for Valencia Dual Enrollment applications. Check the Canvas Student Body Page for the sign up link. 


Senior Corner: 

Grad Bash- Seniors who purchased a Grad Bash ticket must park or be dropped off at Olympia by 6 pm on Saturday, April 13. Please bring signed permission forms. Students will receive their ticket when they board the bus. The buses cannot wait for late students, so please make sure students arrive at Olympia on time. Buses will return to Olympia around 2:30 am. Rides home should be at Olympia at that time. No additional tickets are being sold.


Senior Signing Day-  On Friday, April 19th during A and B lunch we will celebrate our Class of 2024. Please get ready for Senior Signing Day (Seniors will sign off informing us of their plans after high school; whether it’s attending college/a university/military or workforce). Wear your t-shirt (college/university;military or Senior class shirt).

There will be music, games and a Titan Good Time!


FAFSA- Seniors, Have you completed your FAFSA yet?  The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  60% of our students will qualify for Pell Grants, in order to receive this money for a college, tech, or trade school applications must be completed. If students need help with this process, please go to our college and career center this week.

Reminders: 

Senior Banners- Parents/families are welcome to make and drop off a banner for their seniors. These will be hung inside the school courtyard along the second story handrail by PTSA. Please drop off the banner to Ms. Possell in the College and Career Center April 15-22. PTSA will take these banners down and have them ready for pick up from May 13-15. 


Guidelines: Banners must be VERTICAL 3' x 6' they may not be larger than a twin sheet. These are best if created on a vinyl please be sure to add grommets for easy installation.  There are companies online that offer these and can have them shipped to your home once created / and local companies as well.  All banners must be appropriate for school.  If your student played a sport and has a senior banner, that can be hung. Senior Yard Signs- PTSA will be selling them on the dates below, one hour before the events start. $20

April 18- before senior awards

May 15 - senior drive out

May 21 - before Baccalaureate 


Tutoring- Don't forget we have free tutoring for ELA, Geometry and Algebra 1 in the Media Center immediately after school Tuesdays and Thursdays until May 9th!
